THE NAOS
The NAOS, or Inner Sanctum, is the third level of The Lonely Temple study and developmental path. The works here are advanced, and initiatory in nature.
In the Classical World, the Naos was the Innermost Sanctum, the Sanctuary or Cella, where the Image and Attributes of the Deity would be stored and veiled. Only the High Priests and High Priestesses were permitted to enter, and only the highest rituals and the most profound elevations were performed in this, the most sacred of all spaces in the Temple Complex. The charged air would shimmer with incense, and torchlight would make the statues seem to speak, rear, and dance.
The Aspirant advances to become a Philosopher, and attains a new Spiritual Freedom beneath the Light of the Spiritual Sun. Philosophers of the Naos are considered Senior Members of The Lonely Temple. The Hidden Priests take over the personal tuition of the Philosophers, and they begin to walk the inscrutable path of Adepthood, which reach outwards to Infinity. The first Grade is that of the Lightworker. The second Grade is that of the Mystic. The third Grade is that of the Initiate, whose ways are mysterious and unseen.
Naos PHILOSOPHERS BENEFITS
Culmination of Wisdom
The Philosophers of the Naos begin to cultivate a permanent state of Inner Vision, communing with the Spiritual Beings which have previously remained at a distance. They bring the various strands of knowledge together into the Light of the Heart, and the Mysterious Wisdom - the Intelligible Light of SOPHIA - grows and blossoms therein.
Practical Techniques
The Philosophers attain the hard-won position of being able to practicalise all of their theoretical esoteric knowledge in the field and in Nature, working and interacting directly with the Invisible Forces which operate behind visible phenomenon, as well as having a penetrating insight into the true psychology of Humanity.
Further Possibilities
The Philosophers have gained a certain unshakeable confidence in the Order, in themselves, in their Inner Planes contacts, and in their own Radiant Spirit. They are able to consider many more Hidden Paths which are now open to their investigation, and they discover many more options available to them for further development and expansion of their Understanding, Consciousness and Will.

The Lightworker

The Lightworker is one who not only works in Light, but dwells in Light, and stands firm therein. They must also be the Master of Darkness, for there cannot be Mastery without Equity and Equilibrium. This Course commences the deepest levels of study and training within the Temple.

Opening Hidden Doors
The Members of the Naos have attained much, and are permitted to enter the mysterious confines of the Inner Council, which opens Hidden Doors into the Arcane Mysteries. As before, Members may study at their own pace, but we recommend 4 months minimum for each Course. The following Online Tuition is included for the Members of the Naos.
LIGHTWORKER'S SESSIONS
Monthly, 1-2 Hours - Guidance, support, Q&A and transmission for all Lightworkers' Courses. Lightworker Sessions will focus on the most advanced techniques of Applied Psychism and Lightwork, including the manipulation of Aether, and the nature of certain occult mechanisms. Lightworkers who wish to remain as subscribing members of The Lonely Temple after completing their Courses may continue to attend.
MYSTIC'S SESSIONS
Monthly, 1-2 Hours - Guidance, support, Q&A and exploration for all Mystics' Courses. Mystic Sessions are the final level before the Secret Path, where we explore the spiritual paths available in each incarnation, and the Arcane Truth reflected by magic, and veiled by mythology. Mystics who wish to remain as subscribing members of The Lonely Temple after completing their Courses may continue to attend.
