THE ANTENAOS
The ANTENAOS, or Sacred Hall, is the intermediate level of The Lonely Temple study and developmental path.
In the Classical World, the Antenaos was an Inner Hall or Antechamber where the Aspirant Priests would train and study with their Elders. Initiates would be prepared for their ritual ordeals, and there were many small doors leading into mysterious libraries and laboratories, or stairways leading down into concealed cellars and chambers of mysterious use.
Once an Entrant has crossed the Threshold, the dawn of illumination has risen within them, and they become an Aspirant. Aspirants of the Antenaos are considered Junior Members of The Lonely Temple. They may enter the Inner Hall. The Aspirants study the esoteric in greater depth, learning many more practical techniques and unknown secrets guarded by the Hidden Priests within. The first Grade is that of the Guardian. The second Grade is the Geomancer. The third Grade is the Arcanist, who has become competant in the Language of the Mysteries.

Reduced Course Fees
As in the previous Hall, Aspirant Members pay their Annual Fee which covers their Membership of the Temple, and access to all Intermediate Courses for up to a 60% reduction in price with the Monthly Subscription. Our Courses include teaching documents, lectures, a personalised study plan, rituals and exercises, and more advanced theory and in-depth content.
Online Tuition & Certification
Each of The Lonely Temple Antenaos Courses is supported by a Monthly Online Tutorial for all students, conducted by one of our expert contributors, with an extra Online Antenaos Meeting (June & December, Members only) for all Guardians, Geomancers and Arcanists to meet, connect, hear lectures from the founders, and study together. A Certificate of Excellence is available at the end of each Course for €45.
Deeper Connection
Those who have been active Members of The Lonely Temple and have ascended to the Antenaos through their spiritual efforts have formed a deeper connection to the community and its founders. They will be trusted to draw closer and delve deeper into the Secret Mystery Tradition which underpins the external work of the Temple, and which is revealed only to a few.

Laws of the Mysteries

The Guardians of the Antenaos must learn the Laws of the Mysteries, also termed the Occult Laws, or the Laws of Hermes. These are the Laws by which Cosmic Justice and Mercy are invoked and defended, Chaos defeated, and Harmony maintained.
Active Psychic Wards

The Guardians, true to their name, must now master the use of active Psychic and Spiritual Wards, learning the various time-honoured techniques for the protection self and others. This includes the creation of Active Wards.
Power of Boundaries

The Guardians must master the Power of Boundaries, concealed beneath the Mysteries of the Liminal Gods such as Hecate, Bes, and Eshu; these Mysteries are now systematically unveiled by the Temple.
Occult Prophylaxis

The Guardians now learn the various methods of applying Materia Magica to their other layers of Spiritual Defence, including the selective use of Amulets, Charms, Wardstones & Bindstones.
Grade Two: GEOMANCERS

The Earthlight

The Geomancers now walk through the material world with Hidden Knowledge, and must master the telluric currents of the land, the Dragon Paths, and the mysterious Earthlight and its paranormal manifestations which seed myth, legend, and experiences of high strangeness.
The Sublunary Realm

The Moon is the polarising power over the Earth and the Natural Forces. The Geomancer must learn to work closely with Luna, learning Her Secrets and Mysteries in reference to the Material Plane and its Twelve Houses.
Magical Magnetics

The Geomancer moves beyond the Veil of the Moon, and the Temple teaches them how to comprehend the powers of the Electric, Magnetic, Volatile and Fixed Fluids of the Reflecting Medium and its reflexive Aethers. This reveals the true nature of Spiritual Influences.
The Shining Ones

The Geomancer finally begins to perceive the Shining Ones directly; the Realm of the Angels, Deities, Aeons, Masters and Higher Guides begins to open up to them, and shed a helpful Spiritual Light upon the Path.
Grade Three: ARCANISTS

The Mantic Arts

The Arcanist must turn their Energetic Powers towards the mastery of the Mantic Art, which is more than simple fortune telling; it is a means of hearing the Voice of the Cosmos directly, and moving in harmony with the Tides of the Unseen.
The Art of Astrology

The Arcanist is now introduced by the Temple to the Art of Astrology, which is understood differently when approached from the perspective of the Initiate of the Inner Way. This Course explores the Zodiacal Signs, Houses, Planets, Fixed Stars, Aspects, Degrees, Parts, Qualities, and Magical Hierarchies from an initiated perspective.
The Art of the Arcana

The Arcanist is now taught the Hermetic Mysteries of the Tarot, the Major and Minor Arcana, and how these may be used by one upon the Inner Way to unlock the Psyche, the Astral Realms, the Energy Body, and the Natural Forces around them.
Ars Geomantica

The Arcanist is now duly prepared by the Temple to master the Ars Geomantica, the Art of Terrestrial Astrology, which gives us a direct encoding of the telluric forces and their precise interactions with both the Cosmos and the Material Plane.

Deeper Exploration
As in the Pronaos, our Contributers continue their support of the members of our Antenaos, the Sacred Hall. These Courses make a deeper exploration of the Arcane Traditions. As in the previous Hall, the Members may study at their own pace, but we recommend 4-5 months per Course. The following Online Tuition is included for each of the Three Grades of the Antenaos.
GUARDIAN'S SESSIONS
Monthly, 1-2 Hours - Guidance, support, Q&A and assessment for all Guardians' Courses. Guardian Sessions will focus on the power of boundaries, the various Occult Laws and their operations, and the time-honoured methods of Psychic Self-Defence. Guardians who wish to remain as subscribing members of The Lonely Temple after completing their Courses may continue to attend.
GEOMANCER'S SESSIONS
Monthly, 1-2 Hours - Guidance, support, Q&A and discussion for all Geomancers' Courses. Geomancer Sessions will focus on the Earth Mysteries, the nature of Egregores and the Genius Loci, the power of place, and methods for effective energetic interactions with the environment. Geomancers who wish to remain as subscribing members of The Lonely Temple after completing their Courses may continue to attend.
ARCANIST'S SESSIONS
Monthly, 2-3 Hours - Guidance, support, Q&A, divinatory practice and discussion for all Arcanists' Courses. Arcanist Sessions will focus on the great traditions of Divination and Astrology, and will explain the secrets of their Operation through the various levels of the Cosmos. Arcanists who wish to remain as subscribing members of The Lonely Temple after completing their Courses may continue to attend.
Antenaos Colloquium
June & December.
The Antenaos opens formally for more advanced Lectures, Group Journeys and technical demonstrations for all Members of the Antenaos. Guardians, Geomancers and Arcanists can safely share their experiences. The Colloquium aspires to high spiritual contact and the receipt of Divine Guidance.
